Frequently Asked Questions
At Horsin’ Around Sedona, you’ll experience trails throughout a canyon that were originally created by the cattle themselves when it was once a cattle and farming operation in the early 1900’s; providing beef, fruit and vegetables to the minors in Jerome, AZ! You’ll also experience a part of the old Stageline Road overlooking the original Stage Stop that was a resting point between Sedona and Payson, AZ.
Horsin’ Around Owner, Tanner Bryson, grew up on the same ranch, raising and training quality Performance Horses and had to gather cattle daily on the same trails you’ll experience!

Please note that every rider is required to ride their own horse, there is no ‘tandem riding’ permitted. We have exceptionally gentle horses, with interactive, SouthWest trails through exceptional Arizona desert scenery. Make sure to have a conversation with all riders about what is involved with riding horses, controlling them, etc. We do our best to make sure everyone is well educated and matched with the best horse to make it easy, however, maintaining control is up to each individual rider to apply.
We are proud to say there are no weight limits, however, we do have regulations and restrictions to consider. All guests must be able to mount and dismount their horse from the loading doc with limited assistance and keep their balance while riding and controlling their own horse. If you have a weight concern, please call or message us so that we can discuss ‘height/weight proportions’ and verify if we feel the tour is safe for your rider. A photo reference of that particular rider might be requested. If a weight concern is not reported in advance in order to decide if we can permit it, there is a possibility that the rider would not be permitted to ride upon arrival. Our guests safety, as well as our horses safety and wellbeing are most important to us. We appreciate your understanding of this in advance.
We have a picnic area if you’d like to enjoy more time at the ranch after your adventure!
